Another successful investment project in Gendorf: We now offer high-purity hydrochloric acid to our customers!
Hydrochloric acid is an important base chemical and raw material for our PVC production. Westlake Vinnolit has been producing hydrochloric acid since fall last year using its new synthesis plant at its Gendorf site. The investment ensures the economic and reliable supply of this important raw material to the site. And what’s more: we now also can offer this new product to our customers. The first rail tank car filled with hydrochloric acid from Westlake Vinnolit was loaded for sale in July.
