The future is circular and lowcarbon: In addition to GreenVin® and GreenVin® bio-attributed PVC, we just introduced GreenVin® circular-attributed PVC at the K 2025 trade show.
PVC is highly recyclable mechanically, and this process remains the method of choice for ecological and economic reasons. However, thermo-chemical recycling processes are being developed as a supplement for plastic waste that is difficult to recycle and would otherwise end up in landfills or incinerators.
Westlake Vinnolit’s GreenVin® circular-attributed PVC is produced with renewable power (GOs) and circular ethylene based on mixed plastics packaging waste, which cannot be mechanically recycled. It is mass-balanced according to ISCC PLUS and guarantees the same product quality as when using fossil raw materials.
GreenVin® circular-attributed PVC is particularly suitable when the application requires PVC recyclate with a quality equivalent to that of virgin material.
